Some of my favorite stories were the ones with time travel. The sort of time travel that can go back to undo wrongs and sadness or go forward to prevent wrongs and sadness.

Reality reboot/redo/do-over is one way to fix the past.

-Like comforting myself that although I was never a flower girl at a wedding, maybe I can be a flower granny because that is a new trend that better hang on for the next couple of decades.

-Like writing a happy ending to an old sorrow.

-Like giving a legacy to a poet with no one to read her delicate verses but the woman who found them tucked in an old cookbook.

WHEN WINTER MEETS SPRING

My windows were white with frost,
And icicles all around,
Looked like gay wedding candles
Carelessly turned up-side-down.

The shrubs wore white jeweled hoods;
And under the snow and earth,
Daffodil bulbs and lilies
Were pregnant with spring and mirth.

The sun reached through the colors
Of crimson, and gold and blue,
And touched the cold white candles
Tenderly warming them through.

And trembling little snowflakes,
Born in a soft cloud of gray,
Bowed to the sun’s bright colors,
Then silently slipped away.

    Alright, so I gave th777newlink a whirl. Honestly, it’s not bad. The games are responsive, and I didn’t experience any lag. The graphics could be a little better, but overall, it’s a decent place to kill some time and maybe win a few bucks. Worth a shot, if you’re bored.
