An unqualified recommendation of the book “A Hundred Magical Reasons” by Laura DeNooyer. For fans of western Michigan, L. Frank Baum, Wizard of Oz, dual timeline books, nostalgia, good writing, resolution of old wounds, and so much more. An excellent book and worth violating my “4-minutish video” rule.

My disgruntlement is being called sweetheart and darling by strangers half my age. It seems so demeaning. Thanks for the recommendation.
I must not look very sweet or darling. The best I get called by the young’uns is “Ma’am.”
