A THANKSGIVING SONG I RECOMMEND

BOOKS I RECOMMEND

Eyes on the Prize: America’s Civil Rights Years, 1954-1965 by Juan WIlliams Read this one to recount some of our darkest years as a nation and some of our brightest heroes.

A Mind for Numbers: How to Excel at Math and Science (even if you flunked algebra) By Barbara Oakley Read this to learn how to be like me and do a lot of stuff in 25 minute increments. MAybe avoid this method if you are a perfectionist.

Mr. Mulliner Speaking by P.G. Wodehouse Read this, or better yet, listen, if you like to laugh out loud and maybe inadvertently spew out a mouthful of coffee because you are laughing out loud.

LIFE ADVICE

-Does your stuff spark good memories? Do your kids love you even if you have lots of stuff that sparks a LOT of good memories? Don’t rush to dump or give away everything. Got room? Are you fairly tidy and clean? Don’t get rid of it all until you know the time is right.

-If you are blessed to still have a mentor in your life to teach you knitting, you might want to sit and their feet and learn. Because teaching yourself in your sunset years is a bugger.
